Will my child be retained if they struggle academically?
At Elevate Learning Institute (ELI), we do not believe in retention as a primary solution for academic challenges. Instead, we focus on adjusting instruction to meet the individual needs of each student, ensuring they receive the support necessary to thrive without the fear of falling behind.
At ELI, we are committed to meeting the needs of all learners, ensuring that every student receives the support, guidance, and encouragement needed to excel—without the fear of retention standing in the way.
Do I need to check my child’s schoolwork?
Yes, we encourage parents to monitor their child’s assignments and progress in their online portal. That said, ELI checks student progress daily, helping them stay organized and on top of their academics.
Does ELI honor and follow IEP/504 Plans?
Yes, both ELI and NC virtual academies ensure students receive the accommodations outlined in their IEPs/504 plans.
Ms. Martinez is experienced in Exceptional Children Services and will develop an Education Plan with families of children in EC to ensure they are receiving all services and accommodations.

Does ELI assign homework?
No, ELI does not issue homework. Students may work on incomplete assignments from online virtual academies while at ELI or at home, ensuring they meet their own academic responsibilities.
